Step into the world of high-speed thrills with Speed Devils: Online Racing, an amplified version of the original Speed Devils that brings more excitement and dynamism to your Sega Dreamcast. The game introduces new tracks and vehicles, while preserving the familiar ones from the predecessor, all underpinned by a core emphasis on online multiplayer gaming.

Get the real taste of the game in Online mode. After designing your online avatar, you commence your journey with a capital of $10,000, just enough to secure a lower-tier vehicle. As you participate in races and accumulate more funds, you’ll gain access to new cars and performance-enhancing parts. You can look forward to three unique types of races: Standard, Trial, and Vendetta.

In Standard races, victory is just one way to boost your wallet. Breaking speed records, setting fastest lap times, and maintaining a lead can also contribute to your earnings. Trial races introduce an exciting betting component, where all racers contribute a set amount to participate. Furthermore, race creators can throw in between one and four challenges from a pool of 22 possibilities. From best lap times to stringent speed limit compliance, these races are sure to keep you on your toes. For the ultimate challenge, enter Vendetta races, where one-on-one battles end with the victor claiming the loser’s car.

This version of the game includes all seven tracks from the first installment, now available in 12 configurations. Furthermore, the Canada track has received a “Heavy Winter” makeover, and a brand-new Montreal track adds three more configurations to the mix. This brings the total count to an impressive 16 different racetracks, all of which can be flipped, reversed, and customized with weather and time of day settings. As an added bonus, the garage has expanded to include eleven more vehicles.
