- Use Dolphin Emulator to run ROM (Supports Windows, Linux, macOS, Android, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S)
- Use the Nkit Tool to convert file formats. It supports RVT, WBFS, ISO, and GCZ.
- Run the ROM file directly if it is in RVZ format. If the file is in WBFS or ISO format, convert it to RVZ.
- Stay away from the NKIT file!

Hey dude! The classic life simulator series The Sims just got a slick city makeover on GameCube. The Urbz: Sims in the City takes the addiction of controlling little virtual peeps to the bustling big city.
Instead of building dream homes, it’s all about making a name for yourself and being popular with different urban tribes like bikers, skaters, ravers and more. You pick a career and climb the ranks by socializing and dressing the part. It’s wacky but super addictive trying to become the toast of the town.
Some Signature Sims stuff got cut like fully decorating your apartment. And the social interactions feel more limited and repetitive than usual. You won’t get those crazy emergent stories that made The Sims so hilarious. But there’s still decent variety across nine distinct city districts to explore.
Presentation got majorly stepped up with colorful, cartoonish visuals. Seeing your character shred it as a pro skater or vamp it up as a fashion model is just funny. And the music nails how each subculture actually sounds. But the graphics get choppy when there’s too much happening on screen.
At its core, The Urbz has a different vibe tailored towards a younger, female crowd. There’s more emphasis on changing outfits, managing friendships and climbing the social ladder over the wacky open-ended Sims antics.
So if you’re jonesing for Sims but want some fresh new flavor, The Urbz: Sims in the City totally hits the spot. Just don’t be surprised if Luigi from Mario Kart Double Dash keeps distracting you from fully completing your goals!
