While there are many excellent ROM hacks for the DS, they are not as widely played as those for the GBA. However, if you are looking for a high-quality DS ROM hack, Pokemon Storm Silver ROM are worth checking out.
These ROM hacks are based on the Gen 4 remakes of Gold and Silver, but include a wide range of updates and new features. The creator of these hacks has also developed other DS hacks that are worth exploring.
About Pokemon – Storm Silver ROM
The Pokemon – Storm Silver ROM for NDS is an enhanced version of Pokemon SoulSilver that makes a variety of changes to the game, while maintaining the original storyline. Players start their journey in the Johto region, beginning in New Bark Town. The player receives their starter Pokemon from Professor Elm and sets off to conquer the Pokemon League, while also defeating Team Rocket along the way. However, the plot also introduces a legendary Pokemon who has the ability to meet the creator.
Once past the initial storyline, the changes become evident. There are over 493 Pokemon to capture, including legendaries, and it is possible to capture all of them before facing the Elite Four. The game also makes slight changes to attack moves, and some Pokemon have extra level-up moves to make training them easier.
