Super Mario Bros. ROM Description
The Nintendo Entertainment System platformer Super Mario Bros., originally released in 1985, has been converted to the Wii. The protagonist, Mario, must rescue Princess Peach from Bowser by rescuing Mushroom Kingdom citizens scattered around the world.
The player guides Mario through perilous levels filled with obstacles, foes, and treasures in a side-scrolling video game. Jumping and pounding are two of Mario’s signature moves, and he employs them frequently to dispatch foes and advance in the game. The game’s straightforward yet challenging ruleset has endured for almost three decades, making it as enjoyable now as it was then.
The Wii version of Super Mario Bros. adds some new functionality, such as the ability to play co-op with up to three additional players and enhanced visuals that bring the classic game to life in high definition. Whether you have been a fan of the series for years or this is your first time meeting Mario, Super Mario Bros.
