Banpresto’s strategy/RPG Super Robot Wars Z III (3Z Dai-3-ji Sp Robotto Taisen Z) was launched in 2014 in Asia for the PlayStation 3 and the PlayStation Vita. Chrono Prison ( Jigoku-hen, lit. “Time Prison Chapter”) and Purgatory ( Tengoku-hen, lit. “Heaven Prison Chapter”) are the two halves of this engrossing game. Limboscape ( Rengoku-hen, lit. “Joint Prison Chapter”), the third section, was included as a free download with advance copies of Tengoku-hen for a brief period.
Super Robot Wars Z III follows on from the events of Super Robot Wars ZII, with the heroes returning to Earth to find themselves in the midst of a super temporal-dimensional earthquake. As a result of this event, several disparate universes are brought together to form the New Multiple Century. The 3rd Super Robot Wars in the Z Universe have begun, and with them a new conflict and adventure for the galaxy’s heroes to undertake.
The game features a wide range of series, including premiere series that breathe new life into the brand, as well as a host of original characters and units. Super Robot Wars Z III features thrilling mecha combat, complex strategic gameplay, and an engrossing plot.
