The video game Kamen Rider: Battride War is based on the hit anime and manga series of the same name. Gameplay in this PS Vita release is reminiscent of the classic Dynasty Warriors series. The Heisei era of the Kamen Rider franchise, beginning with Kamen Rider Kuuga and ending with Kamen Rider Wizard, is represented here, and players assume the role of one of the Riders. In “Chronicle Mode,” the game’s main story mode, the Kamen Riders face off against their ultimate foes.
Callas, a former member of Foundation X, modifies and freezes the memories of several Heisei Riders throughout the game. Wizard is the only person who stands a chance because of something called Canaria. As the player, you’ll be tasked with completing objectives designed to aid Wizard in his quest to revive the Riders’ memories.
Like the Dynasty Warriors games, Kamen Rider: Battride War has a 3D beat ’em up gameplay style. Most of the Heisei Riders and their Rider Machines are playable, allowing players to engage in combat and traversal. Players are tasked with rescuing innocents in missions, and bosses must be defeated at the conclusion of each level.
The game’s primary story mode is called Chronicle Mode, although there are other modes as well. By revisiting key moments from each season, players may aid Riders in regaining their lost memories. Sub-missions may be completed inside each chapter of Chronicle Mode. In addition to combating foes, players may tailor their Rider’s powers and collect miniatures. It’s possible for secondary riders to help out in battle.
In Free task Mode, players may retry any task they’ve already completed using any of the Riders they’ve acquired. The game’s survival mode is called Rider Road Mode, and it has a variety of roads with varying difficulties, such as Survival Road, Poison Road, Friendship Road, Level 1 Road, Death Road, and the Final Road.
Fans of the series will love the fast-paced action in Kamen Rider: Battride War. As they aid the Heisei Riders in regaining their memories and vanquishing their foes, players will be thrilled by the game’s novel gameplay and various game options.
