In Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath, a mysterious bounty hunter known only as “the Stranger” roams the countryside, seeking and apprehending various outlaws in order to fund a covert mission. When the Stranger learns that a Grubbs-populated village has been attacked by a demon, he travels there to investigate. The Steef, a now-extinct race of monsters, originally guarded the settlement. However, the Stranger learns that a dam erected by a guy named Sekto has dried up the surrounding river.
While the Stranger pursues criminals, he must also confront Sekto and put an end to his destructive deeds. Despite encountering several hurdles and hazards along the road, the Stranger keeps silent about his background.
Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath takes place in a separate fictional realm from its predecessor. The game combines third-person platforming action with first-person shooting components, and the player may switch between modes at any moment by employing a melee or ranged weapon. The goal is to apprehend criminals and acquire “moolah,” the game’s currency. The Stranger can utilize a variety of strategies, including stunning or knocking down adversaries and surprising them by hiding in dense grass.
