The action role-playing game (RPG) “Ys: Memories of Celceta” by Nihon Falcom is enjoyable. It was first released on the PlayStation Vita in Japan in 2012, and Xseed Games helped it reach North America in November 2013. The game was released in February 2014 by NIS America in the PAL areas, which encompass the majority of Europe and Africa, Australasia, and portions of Asia.

Since then, the game has been released on Windows in China in 2015, globally in 2018, and on PlayStation 4 in Japan in 2019 and in North America and Europe in June 2020.

Adol and Duren are hired by Governor-General Griselda, the local ruler, to survey the unexplored areas of Celceta. From this point on, Adol and his companions go on a journey to regain Adol’s lost memories and learn the secrets of Celceta, where they run into friends, enemies, and old mysteries.

The game enhances the immersive experience by creatively utilizing the touchscreen and back touch pad of the PlayStation Vita. Real-time combat, character customization, and the complex narrative make for an engaging gaming experience that should please both newbies and devoted Ys series fans.
