We’re about to discuss a fan-created game that takes inspiration from a ROM hack called Pokemon Adventure Red Chapter. The game in question is called Pokemon Adventures Special Chapter. Adventure Red Chapter is a game that follows the storyline of the Pokemon manga, while Adventures Special Chapter puts you in control of six different characters.

Note: To begin with, this is not a ROM hack, unlike Red Chapter. Instead, it’s a fan-made game created using RPG Maker and PSDK, not Essentials. As a result, there are two things to keep in mind: Firstly, the game cannot be played on mobile devices, and Joiplay has no plans to support PSDK in the future. Secondly, Aethestode, the game’s creator, has to develop many of the tools and features available in Essentials from scratch, which may take some time. However, progress is advancing rapidly, so there’s no need to worry. With that said, let’s dive into the game!

Plot

The plot of Pokemon Adventures Special Chapter has been refreshed. You have the option to play as six different characters, each with their storyline to pursue. While this may seem like a lot, there’s no need to worry – the game isn’t confusing or overwhelming.

The gameplay is similar to a typical Pokemon adventure game, where you can capture Pokemon, engage in battles with trainers, and complete other usual activities. The six characters you can play as are Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Pink, and Mystery.

ROM features

The game’s visuals and sprites are comparable to those of DS games. Some, but not all, characters have custom artwork and portraits. In addition, there are three distinct forms of Pokemon in the game: Shadow, Crystal, and Shiny versions. In addition, the game features Space World Demo Pokemon, and the turbo mode present on emulators may be used to speed up the game. Additionally, it is possible to unlock various outfits for each playable character.

The game features a speed-up button, allowing you to play at a faster pace. Additionally, there are six unique storylines to follow, and you can collect Shiny, Shadow, and Crystal Pokemon throughout your adventure. You also have the option to equip different costumes for your playable characters.

HM Fly is back, and it functions similarly to how it did in ORAS. The game includes a running animation, and trainers can now ride on Pokemon or use custom animations while surfing. The game also includes a day and night cycle and the ability to have a Pokemon follow you.

Mega-Evolutions and Dynamax are available, and there are new Pokemon types to discover. You can even encounter Spaceworld Demo Pokemon. Text and battle portraits are included, and the graphics have been upgraded to DS quality. Finally, there’s a journal feature to help you keep track of your side quest and bonus quests.
