Divinity: Original Sin II is the second installment in the series of adventure games developed by Larian Studios, released by Namco in 2017. Shortly after its launch, the game received critical acclaim from critics and became one of the best role-playing games of all time.
In terms of storyline, events in Divinity: Original Sin II takes place 10 years after the war in the world of Rivellon. Lucian, the god who powers all living things on the planet, has died, but his dark power remains the same. This source of power falls into the hands of many enemies, bringing many disasters to the people. Godwoken, the small island hero, has then left his living area to fight the enemy. His mission is to defeat all enemies under the leadership of Lucian’s soul.
Players will immersive in the journey that contains many dangers of Godwoken. He is present in the open ground near the center of the old castle and is unarmed. The survival of the game is evident in the early stages. Godwoken will live in empty houses along the forest for the first time. He collects ingredients and food to survive before starting to fight. After many battles, Godwoken goes to the church to receive great power from the gods and the clues leading to Lucian’s hiding place. With specific directions on the map, he quickly moves to the front of the location and faces Lucian’s elite army. With the inherent power and reasonable moves, Godwoken will defeat all enemies who stand in the way and fight Lucian. The battle between them takes place for a long time because they both carry in themselves great strength. The game ends after Lucian is defeated again, and Godwoken rules the world of Rivellon.
