Pokkén Tournament ROM Description
Pokkén Tournament is a strategy battle game released for Nintendo Switch on July 16, 2015, by Bandai Namco Entertainment. The game also has similar gameplay to Power and Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm, the Pokemon will switch between field and battle phase in the arena. Any Pokemon can fight with one or more other Pokemon, not necessarily two Pokemon teams fighting with each other. Unlike countervailing arcade games, this game is played with a console controller, which allows the player to access the game faster and easier to use. Pokkén Tournament has more action-oriented gameplay and is opposed to Tekken’s more technical play style. This will make the most demanding players also satisfied with the game. Therefore, players can control Pokemon that can perform various skills such as special moves and use Mega Evolutions (skills that use synthetic strength measures). In addition, players can use the support system Pokemon to buff defensive ability or attack ability for allies. This is also an online game featuring many different players. The game has a rating system with a calculation of points based on the number of wins and losses of players.
