Cooking Mama 4: Kitchen Magic is a cooking simulation game developed by Office Create and published by Majesco Entertainment. It is the fourth game in the popular Cooking Mama series, which tasks players with cooking various dishes using the Nintendo DS’s touchscreen controls.
The Cooking Mama series makes its debut on the Nintendo 3DS with the release of Cooking Mama 4: Kitchen Magic. After countless spin-offs, Mama has finally returned to her roots in the kitchen. It is a game that, like its predecessors, allows players to imitate cooking by following various recipes.
In Cooking Mama 4: Kitchen Magic, players must follow Mama’s instructions and use the touch screen to chop slice, and dice ingredients, as well as cook them using a variety of cooking methods. The game includes over 100 recipes, ranging from simple dishes like omelets and sandwiches to more complex dishes like sushi and tiramisu.
Simple “mini-games” like chopping, stirring, kneading, and tossing are used to simulate different phases of the culinary process. These phases include: Cooking Mama 4 uses both the tried-and-true touchscreen functionality of the DS and the innovative gyroscope functionality of the 3DS. The game also features sixty different recipes and over two hundred different minigames. New powers, such as breaking eggs, flipping pans, balancing dishes, and grating cheese, are made available to players thanks to the gyroscope.
The new cookbook features recipes for corn dogs, cherry pie, and gourmet cupcakes, among other things. After finishing the cooking, you can do other tasks, such as stacking plates, balancing cups, or washing dishes.
