Players in Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 3 take charge of a participant in the “Monster Scout Challenge,” an event in which they must visit several islands in search of powerful monsters called “Synthesizers.” Capture and train a wide array of monsters, each with its own skills and statistics, then use them to combat with other trainers to advance the tale.
Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 3 is most known for its vast single-player campaign, which presents players with a wide range of locales and tasks to conquer. The game has a multiplayer component where players may join forces with friends or random strangers online to take on the game’s challenges, as well as several side missions and mini-games.
Battles in Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 3 are still turn-based, but a new element called “Pair Battles” lets players command two monsters at once to launch devastating combination strikes. The “Synthesis” mechanic in the game enables you to combine monsters to make new, more powerful creatures.
