F1 2011 is the portable version of the popular F1 2011 racing game, bringing the excitement of the 2011 racing season straight to your handheld device. The game offers players the full 2011 racing season, with all stages and tracks included, as well as the multi-season career mode from the main game. In addition to the Grand Prix weekends and three-lap sprints, players can experience practice runs, qualifying sessions, and the main races themselves.
To add realism to the game, the developers have included driving aids such as determining the race distance, weather effects, and options for fuel and tires. Additionally, the game features the KERS and DRS systems from the main version.
Unique to the handheld version are a variety of mini-game challenges such as checkpoint races, overtaking, autocross-style slaloms, and racing in specific situations such as the last two laps of a race in the rain with the wrong tires equipped. These challenges are organized in tiers, with a bonus one at the end, and players’ performance is ranked with a letter.
