Metroid Prime Hunters ROM Description

Metroid Prime Hunters is an action-adventure game developed by Nintendo Software Technology and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo DS. It is the fifth game in the Metroid Prime series and the first to be released on a handheld console.

Plot

The Alimbics, previously called the Tetra Galaxy home, are a robust species far beyond the Galactic Federation’s sphere of influence. The Alimbics were progressive people who kept the peace and prosperity in their territory via force and discretion. They had dominion over a large area called the Alimbic Cluster. Suddenly, maybe hundreds or tens of thousands of years ago, they vanished, leaving behind relics that are now spread out over the Alimbic Cluster and are guarded by a deadly arsenal of the Alimbics’ most cutting-edge weapons.

The Alimbic System has been inactive for generations but has awakened today, bringing some very unusual news. Some of the most extraordinary individuals in our galaxy have received a telepathic message said to have come from the Alimbic Cluster. This message can be understood on a thousand worlds with a thousand different languages. The Alimbic Cluster holds the key to unlimited power, yet this message is continually repeated.

This message piqued the interest of some of the galaxy’s most dangerous bounty hunters, who have set out on the perilous trek to the Alimbic Cluster for various reasons. While some bounty hunters want power for themselves or their home worlds, others are driven only by a thirst for blood and the ambition to show themselves as the galaxy’s most lethal hunters. Time is of the essence as we wait to see which bounty hunter will emerge victorious and learn the truth about this “ultimate power.”

Gameplay

In Metroid Prime Hunters, players control Samus Aran, a bounty hunter on a mission to collect ancient relics known as “Octoliths.” The gameplay involves exploration and combat in a first-person perspective, and players can use various weapons and abilities to defeat enemies and solve puzzles.

Players can explore a variety of environments, including planets, space stations, and asteroids, and must defeat enemies and bosses to progress through the game. The game also features a variety of power-ups and upgrades that allow players to access new areas and abilities.
