Ikenie no Yoru ROM Description

Ikenie no Yoru, also known as “Night of the Sacrifice,” is a survival horror adventure game developed and published by Nippon Ichi Software for the PlayStation Portable. It was released in Japan in 2011 and in North America and Europe in 2012.

Five college students, each of whom is represented by a different hue (black, blue, pink, and red, respectively), travel to the home of black’s father, who vanished there. It is situated in Tsukuyomi Ravine, which is known for being a location where human sacrifices are made to many gods. You take control of each character in turn as the party ventures through the terrifying chambers in this survival horror game. There are 23 separate parts, and each one lasts ten minutes.

You must steer clear of any ghosts at all costs since you will perish if one of them touches you. You should try to sneak by some of them if you can, but if they pursue you, you will have no choice but to run. You can navigate about by using the Balance Board, the Wii remote can be used as a lantern, and the Nunchuk can be used as a cell phone. You have no HUD, so you are left to piece together what transpired in the home and wonder whether you will be able to make it to the finish in order to find out what happened. This causes your heart to race.

The game features a branching narrative with multiple endings, depending on the choices the player makes throughout the game. It also includes a “Sacrifice System,” in which players can choose to sacrifice certain objects or characters in order to progress or gain an advantage in certain situations.
