Ubisoft’s latest dancing simulator, Just Dance 2014, is the fifth chapter in the series. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions were the first to feature this game. The game was released on October 1 in PAL territories, October 8 in NTSC regions for 7th-generation consoles and the Wii U, and November 2013 in PAL regions for the PS4 and Xbox One.

Additional second-screen support for the Wii U and Xbox platforms, the option to capture and share gameplay videos on compatible platforms, and online multiplayer via the “World Dance Floor” mode are just some of the new additions to the game.

Just Dance 2014 continues the series’ formula of having players imitate an on-screen dancer to a selected song in order to rack up points. To get your groove on, you’ll need a motion controller, the specifics of which may vary from console to console.

The new “On Stage” settings in Just Dance 2014 put one player in the spotlight while the rest act as support dancers. In this option, gamers may sing along while the lyrics are presented over the dancers. With the “AutoDance” function, players may capture gameplay footage to post on the Just Dance website or other social media. Players may use their mics to participate in the “Karaoke” mode and gain extra “Mojo” points by singing along with the on-screen lyrics.

The game now features online multiplayer with a ghost data system and a whole new mode called “World Dance Floor.” Except for the Wii version, players may jump into 8-player parties whenever they choose, compare their scores during and after each song, and level up simply by playing more regularly. In addition to the standard Freestyle and Battle modes, Just Dance 2014 also has On-Stage Mode, World Dance Floor, Just Sweat, Just Dance TV, Autodance, and Karaoke.
