MLB Power Pros ROM Description
MLB Power Pros is a series of baseball simulation games developed and published by Konami. The series debuted in Japan in 2004 under the name “Power Pro Kun Pocket” and has since been released in various regions around the world under different names.
Baseball is the focus of MLB Power Pros, a video game. Even if the visuals, and especially the athletes, are not at all realistic, the game nonetheless places a significant emphasis on the simulation component, as well as the statistics involved. There are around seventy-five talents that may alter the ability of the athletes, and there is detailed data tracking for the player’s performance as well. As an illustration, the strategies that each athlete employs can be altered in minute detail. On the field, the game makes use of controls that are pretty straightforward and only require two buttons. For example, swinging the bat requires putting it within the strike zone and pressing a button. However, limited motion controls are only available in exhibition matches and the home run derby on the Wii version of the game.
