The arcade version used specialized light guns with quick draw sensors, but home versions like this Sega CD port try to simulate the same feeling by forcing you to holster your weapon at the start of each duel.

With its grainy graphics and limited color palette, the Sega CD version is a step down visually from the vibrant arcade. But don’t let that stop you from saddling up with Mad Dog McCree for some rootin’ tootin’ light gun fun. Just make sure you’ve got Sega’s Menacer gun ready, since dual-wielding controllers simply won’t cut it.
