Aragorn’s Quest is a video game for PS3. It is a hybrid product that combines many elements from different games such as The Legend of Zelda, Fable and Lord of the Rings. Players will take on the role of Samwise Gamgee’s son, hear about Aragorn’s journey, and experience firsthand key moments in the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
Although not a long game, Aragorn’s Quest still offers an interesting experience with a diverse combat system. It has many combos, skills, and items for players to explore. Besides, Co-op Mode is also a big plus. This mode allows players to play with friends to complete missions in the game.
Controls on the Wii work better than expected, however, when there are multiple actions going on at once, the game can lag. The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions offer a smoother experience.
Aragorn’s Quest has a bright cartoon graphic style. It’s completely different from the dark tone of the trilogy. Music and voice acting are taken directly from the movie to create a familiar feeling for players.
