Unmechanical: Extended ROM Description
Unmechanical: expanded is the first release of the game on console systems, and it is an expanded version of the original Unmechanical game. There is no difference between the primary gameplay and the original game. The player takes control of a little robot that is situated in a 2.5D side-scrolling environment. In order to advance, the player must solve puzzles that are dependent on the surroundings. This Extended version of the game was developed by a new developer, and it has an Extended narrative mode that includes new levels, in addition to extra plot elements and puzzles, in addition to the levels that were included in the original version of the game.
This meant that the default version of the game was replaced with the Extended version, which was a free upgrade for the original game that was available for Windows. The upgrade also included the addition of support for Linux and Macintosh operating systems.
