Skid into one of the game’s three car classes – Rookie, Amateur or Pro – and get ready to trade paint across seven circuits of crunching metal mayhem. Wrecking Racing mode challenges you to rack up points by delivering spinouts and smashing other cars into submission. Or prove your skills in all-out Stock Car races where you still can trade paint and take down the competition. And no Destruction Derby would be complete without the signature arena matches where the only goal is unbridled automotive annihilation.
This sequel brings thrills the original couldn’t deliver. Massive new tracks feature hazards like jumps and crossovers that let you catch big air. The reworked damage modeling means you’ll shred tires, lose hoods and trunks, and flip cars spectacularly through collisions. Even the AI is jacked up, with opponents employing aggressive tactics to increase the difficulty.
The sights and sounds also match the high-octane action. Real-life broadcaster Paul Page lends his voice as the commentator, while the soundtrack from British metal bands Jug and Tuscan provides a heavy backdrop for all the crunching crashes and careening metal.
