Metal Gear Solid: Integral is an expanded re-release of the original Metal Gear Solid exclusively for PlayStation in Japan. This version bundles the enhancements added to the North American and European editions along with new content tailored for Japanese players.
Integral includes difficulty options, English voice acting, and Snake’s secret tuxedo outfit that were introduced in the western versions. The infamous torture sequence was also made easier across difficulty settings. Other changes revert certain details back to the original Japanese edition, like Johnny Sasaki remaining clothed.
Exclusive new features also improve the overall experience. A Very Easy mode grants infinite silenced MP5 ammo to accommodate beginners. Alternate mission layouts provide replay value for veterans.
