Siphon Filter ROM Description
Siphon Filter is a third-person shooter video game that was developed by Bend Studio and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation console. It was released in 1999.
In the game, players control Gabe Logan, a member of the fictional covert agency known as the Agency, as he attempts to stop a terrorist group from using a deadly virus known as “The Filter” to hold the world hostage. The game features a single-player campaign in which players must complete various missions, using a variety of weapons and gadgets to defeat enemies and accomplish objectives.
Siphon Filter also includes a multiplayer mode, in which players can compete against each other in various game modes, such as deathmatch and capture the flag.
The game received critical acclaim upon release for its engaging storyline, challenging gameplay, and well-designed levels. It spawned several sequels and spin-off titles, and is considered a classic of the PlayStation era.
