Button mashers can get by, but learning key attack patterns helps greatly. The environments you battle through lack detail, but seeing familiar villains like the Cyclops or Minotaur is a treat for fans.
However, a temperamental camera system hampers the experience. Shifting perspectives make jumping troublesome and leave you vulnerable in hectic encounters. With only minimal attempts to mix up the constant hacking and slashing, the repetitive gameplay wears thin over the course of the adventure.
