LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens is an action-adventure game developed by TT Games and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. It is based on the Star Wars: The Force Awakens film and follows the same plot and characters as the film.

The plot is heavily inspired by the film Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which was released in 2015, but it also contains supplemental material that presents a narrative thread that connects the events of Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens. In this manner, players will not only be able to relive the memories from The Force Awakens, but they will also be able to play with a new narrative that takes place between the conclusion of the events of the first trilogy and the beginning of the sequels. The storyline of the Star Wars universe is expanded upon in some of these additional missions.
