Star Fox Zero is a rail shooter that is only available on the Wii U. Play with Fox McCloud and the Star Fox squad as they fight to rescue the Lylat System. Star Fox Zero brings back the excitement of the original Star Fox gameplay with a combination of on-rails Arwing combat and all-range mode.
Navigate challenging missions over famous worlds like Corneria and Fichina in the transformable Arwing. Using the GamePad, switch between the exterior and cockpit views to accurately target and eliminate adversaries. Convert the Arwing into a mech walker so you can go across screens on foot. The action is creatively twisted by new vehicles like the Gyrowing, a drone-controlling vehicle.
To help combat enemies like Wolf and the Star Wolf squad, call on wingmen like Slippy and Falco. To outmaneuver assailants, employ bombs, rolls, somersaults, U-turns, and charged shots. To unlock the Black Arwing, simply scan the Falco amiibo figure. It will unlock very quickly. Set a goal for yourself to explore every planet’s hidden route and bonus.
Star Fox Zero captures the excitement of fighting to preserve the galaxy with a combination of all-range dogfighting freedom and white-knuckle on-rails blasting.
