The EXP system in Inclement Emerald is similar to Gen 8, in that all party Pokemon gain EXP during battles, and this feature cannot be turned off. However, there are a few differences:

• All Pokemon that participate in battles receive 100% of the EXP
• Pokemon that do not battle will still receive 25% of the EXP
• When holding an EXP Share, all Pokemon receive 100% of the EXP. This system simplifies the training of a full team and allows all party members to earn EVs faster.

Adjust the weather mechanism.

Abilities like Drought and Drizzle that generate weather can once again cause an endless amount of temperature, albeit the damage bonus from sun and rain has been reduced to 20%. This adjustment was made to balance Swift Swim and comparable abilities better and improve the viability of defensive weather skills like Ice Body and Sand Veil. This revision also opens up new possibilities for team composition, including the employment of weather-resistant Pokemon like Hydration Goodra that were not available in the Generation 5 weather conflicts. And while a 50% defense boost in Hail for Ice types might seem like a joke, it is somewhat helpful for defensive Pokemon who move slowly and rely on ice for the attack.

Full battle mechanics

Pokemon Inclement Emerald has most new techniques, powers, equipment, and mechanics from Generations 4-7. Mega Evolution and Z-moves are also included. Because it is still under development, there may be some issues, but they should not be game-breaking.
