To save the day, take control of Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, or Michaelangelo as Shredder and the Foot Clan have taken April and Splinter hostage. This home version is a great way to enjoy the classic TMNT experience, complete with four-player pandemonium.
Use the special weapons and moves of your favorite Turtle to defeat legendary opponents. Discharge Foot Soldiers, burst through subways and streets, and defeat Krang, Bebop, and Rocksteady. Collaborate to execute special attacks and locate pizza to replenish your health. The tough fighting and action-packed cooperative gameplay are still relevant!
Though Konami’s adaptation lost some of the radical spirit, the visuals and music were still better than in the arcade original. The characters, one-liners, and theme song samples from the 1987 TMNT cartoon series succeeded in capturing the series’ appeal. An immediate classic.
