Put on your wrestling boots and get ready for battle with WWF WrestleMania, a 1989 NES game that showcases legendary WWF wrestlers. WrestleMania, created by Rare and distributed by Acclaim, was the culmination of Acclaim and the World Wrestling Federation’s ten-year collaboration.
Six wrestlers are available for selection, including wrestling icons like Andre the Giant, Macho Man Randy Savage, and Hulk Hogan. Every wrestler has a unique combination of running assaults, turnbuckle maneuvers, punches, kicks, and bodyslams. Your wrestler can deal more damage if you can make them angry. Utilize special power-up symbols to restore your health.
Play demonstration matches against the computer or a buddy, or compete in a championship event. Compete against every opponent in a gauntlet match or compete against every wrestler in a round-robin competition. To win any ties, have the quickest victory time.
