Yoshis Set Out on a Joyful Journey in Yoshi’s Tale
A fun platform game called Yoshi’s Story was launched in 1997 for the Nintendo 64. The endearing Yoshis traverse a pop-up fairytale island as they set out to save their Super Happy Tree from the evil Baby Bowser. Take a piece of fruit and follow the Yoshis on their joyful journey to bring happiness back!
Until Baby Bowser takes their tree, the Yoshis lead happy lives.
Thanks to their Super Happy Tree, which provided them with an infinite supply of joy and fruit, the Yoshis used to dwell in peaceful harmony on Yoshi’s Island. But the Super Happy Tree was taken by the envious Baby Bowser, who cursed the island and turned it into a pop-up book!
On the island, six Yoshis hatched and were aware of what had transpired. With a mission to retrieve their tree and thwart Baby Bowser’s scheme, the Yoshis embarked on an exploration of the pop-up book island. To locate the location where their tree had been stolen, they followed the trail of fruit. They could definitely trample Baby Bowser and preserve their joyful goal if they stuck together and had fun along the way!
Play focuses on level exploration and fruit collection.
To finish a level and advance to the next section of the tale, the Yoshis have to consume precisely thirty fruits. Make an informed choice because different colored Yoshis have affinities for different fruits and Shy Guys!
The Yoshis have the ability to sniff for hidden things, leap, flutter, and swallow adversaries to create eggs. They get assistance from unique characters like Poochy the dog along the way. But beware of adversaries such as Piranha Plants, shy guys, and more!

Yoshi’s Story has vivid, colorful graphics that are shown in scenes akin to dioramas. The illustrations’ Yoshi’s Island-inspired craftsmanship is ideal for the pop-up book environment.
