Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars – The Director’s Cut is an improved recreation of the critically acclaimed point-and-click adventure from 1996. This 2009 edition is the definitive rendition of a classic, with additional scenarios, riddles, and playable characters.
Once more, you’ll lead French journalist Nicole Collard and American traveler George Stobbart as they dissect a global Templar conspiracy. Nico, however, has joined George as a playable character and has her own pre-original storyline investigative pieces.
Examine intricate, vibrant 2D sceneries. Speak with witnesses, gather inventory, and go through challenging riddles that are concealed throughout the settings. Await fresh and sophisticated brainteasers alike. The beautiful European settings and understated wit are still excellent.
Comic book artist Dave Gibbons supplied additional artwork and settings for this extended Director’s Cut. Hotspots that are highlighted and an in-game tip system are features of the simplified UI. The mystery and charm are still there, even though the death scenes have vanished.
