Vaan now commands a tribe of sky pirates, one year after the events of Final Fantasy XII. Vaan finds himself entangled in a mission to preserve the winged Aegyl people of the floating continent of Lemurés when his treasure seeking expedition takes him there. You’ll fight alongside well-known characters like Penelo and Balthier to defend Lemurés’ auracite crystals from evil powers.
Playing as Vaan, you’ll explore the ruins of Lemurés and command squad-based, in-the-moment combat against auracite-called mystical creatures and sky pirates. To get an edge, strategically transfer character categories that are airborne, ranged, and melee. You may even call Espers into combat with the auracite to wreak havoc.
Revenant Wings builds upon the Ivalice universe of Final Fantasy XII, adding new characters and a whole new environment while keeping the plot and striking visuals that made the PS2 game so popular. Its real-time tactical warfare is quick and easy to understand, making it ideal for DS.
