RollerCoaster World ROM Description

RollerCoaster World is a theme park simulation video game developed and published by Atari for the PlayStation 2 console. In the game, players can design, build, and manage their own theme park, focusing on constructing and operating roller coasters.

Gameplay

Players can choose from various coaster types and customize them with tracks, loops, and other features. They can also build other attractions, such as restaurants, shops, and entertainment facilities, and hire staff. As players progress through the game, they can unlock new coaster parts and themes for their park.

In addition to building and managing their park, players can ride the coasters they create and take on challenges to earn rewards. RollerCoaster World also includes a multiplayer mode, where players can visit and rate each other’s parks.

Game mode

There are a number of additional attractions to construct, but the primary focus is on the rollercoasters, some of which offer a 3D riding experience. There are three different game modes available in this game:

• “Challenge mode,” in which you are tasked with building a rollercoaster that meets specific criteria (such as having a thrill value that is greater than 100, a safety value that is greater than 50, maximum and minimum heights, and so on), all the while avoiding the construction of a device that will wipe out all of your customers (as the ride goes on you get statistics on how people feel and if anyone has fallen off).
• “Management mode” is a feature that allows you to build and manage an entire amusement park, discover and implement new attractions, and watch over the park’s financial well-being.
• And a “Quick Ride mode,” in which you ride roller coasters that have already been constructed.
