Syberia II ROM Description
Syberia 3 is the third installment in the popular adventure game series developed by Microïds. It was released in 2017 and continues the story of Kate Walker, the young lawyer who became embroiled in a journey to the mysterious island of Syberia in the previous games.
The events that took place in the first installment of the Syberia series are continued in the second installment for PC, PS2, and other platforms. Sokal, the creator of the Syberia series, admits that the original story consisted of a single narrative that was later divided into two parts: Syberia and Syberia II. The events of this game begin in the Russian city of Romansbourg, where the events of the last game were concluded. The protagonists of this edition are Kate and Hans, who are joined by Oscar, a mechanical companion. This time around, Kate decides to follow Hans solely for her own personal reasons, and she hides behind her family, career, and other responsibilities. She ends up being his friend, and she is essential in assisting him in unraveling the riddle of the mammoths.
In Syberia 3, players once again assume the role of Kate, who finds herself stranded in a hostile environment and struggling to survive. As she searches for a way to escape, Kate encounters a variety of new characters, including the nomadic Youkol tribe, who are being hunted by a group of mercenaries. Kate joins forces with the Youkols and helps them on their journey to bring their sacred snow ostriches to the holy steppes, where they can reproduce.
In terms of gameplay, Syberia 3 follows the same point-and-click adventure format as the previous games in the series. Players use their mouse to interact with the environment, solve puzzles, and engage in dialogue with non-playable characters. The puzzles in Syberia 3 are challenging but not overly difficult, requiring players to use their logic and problem-solving skills to progress.
