Plot
True Crime: New York City is an action-packed game that puts players in the shoes of Marcus Reed, a former gangster who joins the NYPD to clean up the streets of New York. With a mix of crime-fighting and street-level policing, the game offers a unique blend of action and strategy.
As Marcus, players will have to tackle various missions ranging from stopping street fights to defusing bombs. They will also be able to frisk people on the street, search cars for contraband, and issue tickets to speeders. However, Marcus is not afraid to do things his own way. The player has the option to extort money from local pharmacies, plant evidence, and use a variety of weapons to help them in their mission.
