Our protagonist, Dean Stark, a village lad with dreams of becoming a Golem Hunter, stumbles upon a mysterious girl named Avril inside a Golem’s hand. With only fragmented memories of the term “Johnny Appleseed”, Dean, with Avril and his friend Rebecca, embarks on an enthralling expedition to decipher its meaning.
The gameplay is deeply strategic. Battles unfold on hexagonal fields with unique properties, calling players to meticulously position characters for optimal offense and defense. The combat is enriched with the reintroduced Force meter, enabling power-packed attacks or even summoning mighty Guardian beasts. But what truly shines is the ARM system. Each character boasts a specialized gun that has a range and requires periodic reloading. These ARMs can be amped up in firepower and stats, turning them into deadly assets.
