JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle is a one-on-one fighting game in 3D that is based on the long-running manga series JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure by Hirohiko Araki. The game was developed by Araki himself. The game’s plotline and characters are based on the series’ eight different story arcs, which served as inspiration. The game modes include a story mode, a campaign mode, and a versus mode featuring competitive matches against another player both offline and in online ranked games. The story mode features a single-person narrative while the campaign mode features a multi-player narrative.
Each character possesses standard special techniques in addition to extra moves that may be accessed through their Battle Style. Depending on the character, the Battle Style can be classified into one of the following six categories: Ripple, Vampirism, Mode, Stand, Mounted, or Baoh Armed Phenomenon.
