At first I thought this was going to be like a DLC for Arkham City where you get on the train and run from car to car defeating bad guys, which isn’t inherently a bad thing, but the surprise is that it’s actually the feeling is so much deeper, makes me understand why they released the PC version based on that. That alone is enough for me to see why it’s more than just DLC.
Fascinating plot
In terms of graphics, I was surprised because for an older generation console, the game’s graphics are really good. On a 5 star scale, I would give it a 4.5. The graphics are really good, they look almost the same as Origins or even better. In my personal opinion, it looks even a little better.
The story is also very good, again with an Arkham game we already have a plot, but this is a nice unexpected twist. You can fight on the roof, go to the Black Gate to see what’s going on there. These are things you didn’t really see in the previous three games. So I think this is a pretty good storyline.
Controls are similar to previous games
As for the controls, it feels similar although for a side-scroller it is slightly different from previous Arkham games. It’s a little clumsier, but it actually still functions exactly like any other Arkham game if you’ve played it before. You will feel instantly familiar, pick up the handle and start combining combos just like before. Like I said, it plays pretty much the same as the on-ship DLC.
High replay value thanks to uniqueness
Just for its uniqueness, I think it has high replay value because you’ll want to play it again to run around and fight, climbing from rooftop to rooftop in different ways. Overall quite interesting.
