Blue Dragon ROM Description
Blue Dragon is a role-playing video game developed by Mistwalker and Artoon and published by Microsoft Game Studios for the Xbox 360 in 2007. It is the first game to be directed by Hironobu Sakaguchi, the creator of the Final Fantasy series.
The game’s story centers around a group of friends who discover they possess the power to control powerful shadows, known as “phantom beasts,” which they can use in battle. The player takes control of the main protagonist, Shu, and the other characters in his party as they embark on a journey to stop the evil Nene and his army from destroying their world.
The gameplay in Blue Dragon is a traditional turn-based RPG, in which players control a party of characters and battle enemies using a variety of skills and magic spells. Players can also collect and raise different types of phantom beasts, each with their own unique abilities, to use in battle.
The game features a large open world to explore, with a variety of towns and dungeons to visit. The game also has a unique skill system, where the player can learn new skills by using the same type of magic repeatedly, similar to the leveling system in some MMORPGs.
