Ben 10 – Protector of Earth ROM Description

“Ben 10: Protector of Earth” is an action-adventure game based on the Ben 10 animated television series that was released for the PlayStation Portable (PSP) in 2007.

Ben is a young child who can engage in the typical activities of a superhero thanks to an extraterrestrial gadget that grants him the ability to morph into some other strong entities. In the video game, Ben loses most of his abilities after a drone consumes the device’s DNA, leaving him with only a select handful. Most of the game consists of exploring different parts of the globe to regain complete control of the situation.

Ben will advance through the stages by traveling from left to right while engaging in combat with various adversaries. Fights in a brawler are often confined to a short area, and all foes—including any extra adversaries that may appear during the conflict—need to be vanquished before the player progresses.

In the breaks between fights, Ben must do platforming challenges, in which he must hop over gaps. Ben can transform into a total of five different beings throughout the game. These include Cannonbolt, who “walks slowly but can transform into a ball and – Sonic-style – roll around the levels,” Heatblast, who “is fire-based and can neutralize burning platforms,” Fourarms, who “is mostly a strong fighter,” Wildvine, who “can stretch his arm to reach special plants or attack at a range,” and XLR8, who “can stretch his (has a high double jump and can teleport).

Ben needs to make use of their unique skills to advance through the platforming parts of the game. This is in addition to employing their talents for combating adversaries and bosses, who demand certain methods. However, to complete any transformation, you will need power, which may be gained by gathering energy balls. It is possible for this to be a problem during combat, despite the fact that it does not present much of an issue during the portions of the game involving platforming (when the gauge is entirely drained, a portion of it will automatically refill after a few seconds).

Up to eight players can compete against one another in multiplayer mode to see who can wreck the most automobiles.
