In Academy of Champions: Class of Heroes, prepare your spells and sharpen your weapons for an incredible dungeon crawling adventure. You may assemble a group of ten different races in this fantasy role-playing game for the PSP and go through treacherous ruins teeming with creatures.
Your home base, Particus Academy, is where you enroll new students in Academy of Champions. Select from choices like cunning Halflings, powerful Drakes, and ethereal Celestians to determine each recruit’s race, gender, attributes, and talents. Come to the academy to relax, buy, and make crafts using stuff you find on adventures.
When the time is right, take your group into expansive mazes that are crawling with danger. Unlock shortcuts, make your way through the mazes, and be ready for sporadic turn-based combat. Stack your monsters and heroes in rows to enhance their special attacks. Close-quarters combatants move forward, while ranged units attack from behind. By winning battles, you can activate strong gambits by charging up a tension gauge.
Employ tactics to get past cunning traps and strong bosses. Resurrected fallen allies die after two deaths at the academy. Prepare your party carefully by researching opponent vulnerabilities since strategy and cooperation are the only ways to overcome the impending perils.
Students should rearrange their allegiances and majors in between quests to maximize performance. Swordsmanship is a strength shared by humans and elves, and so on. Furthermore, certain races get along better than others! Try to develop a balanced, harmonic solution.
Academy of Champions is a really enjoyable throwback dungeon crawling game that combines strategic combat, extensive character customization, and limitless crafting and looting. While creative races and simplified rules update the game, the random fights and maze navigation bring back fond memories.
