Select from more than 90 playable historical heroes and villains, including Zhuge Liang, a cunning strategist, and Zhao Yun, a fighter. You are dropped into expansive battlegrounds teeming with opposing forces in every stage. Use multi-hit combos, special strikes, and screen-clearing “Musou” assaults to dispatch hundreds of opponents.
Combat, albeit simple, is always interesting. When you cut through entire armies, you get an incredible sense of power. Swords, spears, and even more imaginative weapons like fuuma shuriken or Daqiao’s umbrella are among the available alternatives. To get more stats and learn new attacks, level up.
You’ll participate in important conflicts in each kingdom’s struggle for supremacy in Musou narrative mode. Dramatic conflicts between alliance leaders are brought to life through discourse and fast-paced events. You may rerun any combat with any character in other modes, which is great for leveling up your favorites.
The fast-paced action that made Dynasty Warriors so famous on the PS2 is still there in these PSP versions. Simplified controls and visuals make up for the lower power, though. When the action becomes dense, the performance doesn’t change.
