Now I know what you’re thinking – another Battlezone knockoff? Hold your horses there, partner! This pony might seem a little rough around the edges, but it’s got some sparkle once you get to know it.
Sure, the visuals are a mite ugly and the controls take some wrangling. And maybe the mission variety leaves something to be desired. But by golly, there’s just something charming about guiding that heavy metal tank across the battlefield. It really takes you back to the good ol’ days!
And there are some genuinely fun moments too, like calling in air support to rain down destruction. Plus that nice simple upgrade system is slicker than a greased pig. It may not be the prettiest pony show, but Final Armada has its share of stickers for your sticker book.
