Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars is an open-world action-adventure game developed by Rockstar Leeds and published by Rockstar Games. It was originally released for the Nintendo DS in 2009, and later for the PlayStation Portable (PSP) in 2010.
The game’s plot follows Huang Lee, a young Chinese-American member of the Triad crime organization. After his father, a powerful Triad leader, is murdered, Huang is sent to Liberty City to deliver a valuable sword to his uncle Kenny. However, upon arriving in the city, Huang is ambushed, the sword is stolen, and he is left for dead. Determined to avenge his father’s death, Huang reclaims the sword and takes control of the Triad’s operations in Liberty City.
Throughout the game, players take on the role of Huang as he navigates the criminal underworld of Liberty City, completing missions, pulling off heists, and taking on rival gangs. The game features a variety of vehicles, weapons, and side activities to take part in, such as drug trafficking, illegal street racing, and other criminal activities.
The story and gameplay in the PSP version are the same as in the original Nintendo DS version, but the graphics are better and the controls have been changed to work better with the PSP. The game also features additional content, such as new missions and weapons and a new multiplayer mode.
