As a young farmer whose father recently passed, you inherit a plot of land in gorgeous Leaf Valley, home to rare animal species and idyllic nature. However, the aggressive Funland company aims to transform the whole area into an amusement park attraction forcibly. Interact with eccentric villagers as you grow crops, tend livestock and restore the dilapidated farmhouse hoping to save this slice of paradise.
Much like other Harvest Moon entries, stately pacing lets you set daily and seasonal routines around tending fields, bonding friendships, and more. Sixteen different story paths featuring unique characters introduce tasks that steadily cultivate Leaf Valley as either a nature preserve or a tourist destination for prosperity beyond farming.
