Get your sneakers on and head to the basketball court in Hoopster: Take the Court in NBA for PSP. You can shoot hoops like all of your favorite NBA stars while on the fly with our launch basketball game.
Choose from the current rosters of all 30 NBA clubs, national teams, and east and west all-star teams on Hoopster. Play complete seasons or short exhibition games to guide your team to championship success. There’s no reason why you can’t even make deals to build amazing teams.
On the court, manoeuvres like jab steps, fakes, and jukes provide your offensive flare. Learn how to shoot with a special two-button mechanism to slam baskets or sink buckets from downtown. Make use of the strategic quick menu to run basic plays. And play minigames like a three-point shootout to test your abilities against friends via Wi-Fi multiplayer.
The basic five-on-five action of Hoopster is undermined by its poor AI and often uncomfortable shooting, despite its impressive appearance and extensive season mode. The game has a dated feel that falls short of more sophisticated contemporary entries due to other legacy problems including stiff animations and ambiguous mechanics.
