You awake as Aldo, a young man who has recently returned home from war to find his father murdered. Seeking revenge, you join the Corleone crime family, working for the powerful Don Vito Corleone. As an enforcer, you start small – collecting protection money and doing favors around the neighborhood of Little Italy. But soon, you get pulled into the violent rivalry between the five ruling mafia families of New York City.
When Don Vito is almost killed in an assassination attempt, a mob war erupts. His son Michael promotes you for saving Don’s life in the hospital shootout. Now a made man, you fight back against the rival families, killing their soldiers as you rise up the ranks. Tragically your girlfriend Frankie becomes yet another victim of the violence. Her death fuels your hunger for vengeance.
You prove yourself one of the Corleone family’s toughest soldiers, willing to do whatever it takes to defeat their enemies. From intimidating movie producers in Hollywood to stalking the icy streets of New York, you take on dangerous missions without hesitation. Your acts of loyalty and valor catch the eye of Michael, now head of the family after Vito’s death.
In a dramatic climax, Michael sends you to assassinate the leaders of the four opposing families in one fell swoop. You succeed, becoming Michael’s right-hand man as underboss, on the brink of running New York City yourself. But the bloody mob war rages on, demanding new acts of violence and treachery from you.
