When it comes to The Sims 3, the fifth add-on is called The Sims 3: Pets, and it focuses entirely on pets. For the most part, horses, cats, and dogs are the most significant ones since they behave just like the regular Sims. They go through the typical process of character formation, end up with a personality, and have requirements that must be satisfied. It is even possible to train them; for instance, horses may be trained to compete in competitions, and dogs can be trained to become track hounds for treasures. In addition to those, there are other smaller creatures such as rats or parrots, as well as a furniture set with a Western-style design.
