Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 ROM Description
Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 is a video game compilation developed and published by Capcom for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch platforms. It was released in 2017 and contains four classic Mega Man games: Mega Man 5, Mega Man 6, Mega Man 7, and Mega Man 8.
Like the first Mega Man Legacy Collection, the second collection includes all of the original games, which were originally released on a variety of consoles in the late 1980s and 1990s. The games in the second collection are set after the events of the first four Mega Man games and continue the story of the robotic hero as he battles a new set of villains and their robotic minions.
It is packed with of new material, including online leaderboards for time trials and remix challenges, a music player, and an enormous gallery of rare images from previous games in the series. New modes, which were previously only available as downloadable content for Mega Man 9 and 10, are now included in this collection. These modes feature additional playable characters and stages. You now have the ability to lessen the amount of damage taken, which is helpful for those players who are looking for a little bit of a hand getting through these difficult vintage platformers.
